Ancient Araucaria trees and the 3,776 metre-high Lanín Volcano dominate the area.
The town of Junín de los Andes is the main service provider of the area. Tromen Lake, the starting point to climb to the summit of the volcano, and Huechulafquen, Epulafquen and Paimún basins are part of this town.
By car - One day:Among millenarian Araucaria trees you will see the Lanín volcano with its eternal snows. The Patagonian forest appears on the shores of Tromen Lake, with its beautiful beach ideal to relax and all the beauty of nature.
By car - One day:Yor will reach the place by taking the Provincial Road Nº 61, eventhough the road is not paved, it is in good conditions throughout the year. The circuit borders Huechulafquen Lake, until reaching Paimún Lake and Puerto Canoas

Lake - One day:Huechulafquen and Epulafquen Lakes offer visitors an amazing circuit in one of the most impressive areas of the National Park. Lanín volcano and El Escorial, a solidified lava river that flows into the lake, will be your best company along the excursion.
