All flights are operated at Aviador Carlos Campos airport, located 22 kilometers (14 miles) from town, along the National Route N° 234.
Getting from the airport to San Martín de los Andes is very easy since there is a wide variety of ground transportation such as taxis, remises, vans and rental cars.
During the tourist high season, there is a daily frequency of incoming flights from the cities of Buenos Aires and Neuquén into our local airport.
Bariloche International Airport has a daily frequency of domestic incoming flights and international flights from Chile.
Recently an American Jet with 19 seats started operating from the city of Nuequén, providing 5 flights per week. An agreement between the government of the province and the air company makes the continuity of the flights possible.
San Carlos de Bariloche Airport is also used as a combined point for ground and air transport. By car you can enjoy beautiful roads such as 7 Lakes, or paved roads going past Valle Encantado and Junín de los Andes.
